Photojournalism
Real-time visual narratives from the streets — documenting public life in moments of tension, celebration, and change.
With a documentary approach and a strong sense of composition, I focus on human presence, light, and the emotion embedded in public space. The goal is to create images that inform, resonate, and stay with the viewer.
Smoke from Canadian Wildfires Reaches NYC.
On June 7, 2023, smoke from historic wildfires in Canada covered New York City in an orange haze, drastically lowering air quality. The city was placed under alert as officials urged residents to stay indoors.
Landmarks like Times Square turned surreal. People paused to capture the moment — a visual reminder of how far climate events can reach.
These images were taken as the city stood still beneath an unfamiliar sky.
And New Yorkers, as always, witnessed it through their own lenses.
